Why we started

Martial arts changed us.

Martial arts taught us discipline, focus, confidence, and respect — the kind of lessons that don’t fade when class ends. So in 2014 we opened a school built to pass those lessons on to the next generation of leaders in New Jersey.

We didn’t want a franchise. We wanted a family. What started as one room in Dunellen has grown into three award-winning studios — but the promise has never changed: every kid who walks through our doors becomes a Warrior, and we never take that for granted.

How Warrior grew up.

From one mat in Dunellen to the most-awarded martial arts school in central New Jersey.

2014

One mat. One mission.

Warrior opened in Dunellen with a single belief — the discipline, focus, and confidence martial arts gave us could change a kid’s life. We started small: one room, a handful of families, and a refusal to cut corners on the coaching.

2018

A family, not a franchise.

Word spread the only way it should — parent to parent. Families who watched a shy or scattered kid start standing taller told their friends. We grew because the change was real, and the change was real because we kept the standard high.

2025

Voted #1 in South Plainfield.

A decade in, the community voted us the #1 Martial Arts School in South Plainfield and Top #3 in all of Middlesex County. Today we serve 500+ families across three New Jersey studios — and every one of them is part of the Warrior family.

2026

Somerset is now open.

Our newest studio is open and now enrolling Founding Members — bringing the same coaches, the same curriculum, and the same standard to Somerset so more kids across central New Jersey can find the Warrior already in them.

Real martial arts, every drill

Every drill is real martial arts — a punch, a kick, a block, a stance — taught at your kid’s pace. They build genuine skill the same way every martial artist before them did: one honest rep at a time.

Led by head coaches

Every class is led by a head coach with 10+ years on the mat — career coaches who know how to teach a 3-year-old and an 11-year-old in the same hour, and who learn your kid’s name on day one.

Safety and great coaching together

Safety and great coaching aren’t a trade-off. Background-checked coaches, age-specific classes, and controlled contact on pads — every single session, for every single kid.

Our coaches are career martial artists who chose to spend their lives on the mat. They lead with patience, they highlight effort, and they treat your kid’s first stance with the same care as a black belt’s. That’s the room your kid walks into — every single class.
